The PCR-100 is a newly developed companion to the popular XR-60, XR-70, and XR-80 series of medical imaging VCRs. This unit consists of a VHS VCR with special enhancements to allow complete integration into an existing installation.The result is an automatic means of simultaneously recording a VHS tape,generally to supply to the patient or their family.

The PCR-100 consists of an industrial quality VCR, along with necessary cables, connectors, adaptors and a video distribution amplifier needed to phase into any existing installation.

The result is an automatic means of generating parallel recordings, in other words, the PCR-100 will be slaved to the XR-series recorders to generate a patient copy VHS tape without the added time or labor of later making a copy from the original.

A secondary benefit is the fact that the VHS patient tape is a first generation recording, not a copy of the S-VHS original tape

Digital Tracking Control:

During playback a built in microprocessor automatically and continuously adjusts video tracking as necessary to ensure the best possible playback performance.

Blank Search System:

For increased recording convenience, the PCR-100 features a blank search system. This microcomputer controlled system automatically locates the end of the recorded portion on a partially recorded tape and displays the remaining tape time, making it easy for you to make a new recording.

Automatic Recording System:

The record control signal from the X-Ray system is conditioned to conform to the requirements of the PCR-100. Whenever the XR series recorder goes into the record mode so will the PCR-100, ensuring complete recordings without having to assign a technician for this task.

Fully VHS HQ Capability:

This recorder conforms to the highest quality standards for VHS signal recording and playback. It will not playback S-VHS tapes, however it will playback in the SP (2 hour) and EP (6 hour) modes.

Video Distribution Amplifier:

A high quality video distribution amplifier is included with the PCR-100.This DA is used to isolate the video signal from the XR series recorders so that there will be no video signal degradation from the X-Ray system.
