Tape Transport

A special patented system has been developed to allow the recorder to remaining the stop mode indefinitely without head or tape wear; yet, the recorder is available for image recording in less than 500 milliseconds.

Enhanced Circuitry for X-Ray Systems

The image circuits in this recorder have been specifically developed to record the high-scan rate signal coming from X-Ray systems with minimal degradation.It will also record and play back in all scan modes from 525 to 1249 lines with a 60 Hz refresh rate.

Image Signal

Full-bandwidth image signals pass through the XR-70U in all modes except play, pause and search. When power is shut off to the recorder, a special bypass circuit reroutes the input signal to the output with no loss of bandwidth.

Interchangeability

The XR-70U will play back any tape made on standard VHS machines, but in monochrome mode only. Recordings made on the XR-70U will play back on standard S-VHS VCR's (image sharpness will be affected).

RMC-70 Remote Control (Optional)

This full-function remote control unit, comes with a standard three-meter cable(longer cable is available as an option). The remote control features play,record, fast forward, rewind, slow motion, pause, stop, frame advance,a rotary search knob for forward and reverse, and audio dub.

IVT-10 Digital Remote Control (Optional)

• Real time digital counter with battery backup.
• Image location marking system.
• Built in diagnostic routine.
• Recorder bypass control for image comparisons.
• Controls include: Play, Record, Fast Forward, Rewind, Pause, Stop, Search and Jog.
