FEATURES:

Tape Transport

A special patented system has been developed to allow the recorder to remaining the stop mode indefinitely without head or tape wear; yet, the recorder is available for image recording on just a contact closure.

Image Bypass Function

Full bandwidth image signals pass through the XR-80 in all modes, except play, pause and search. When powered down, a bypass circuit re-routes the input signal to the output with no loss of bandwidth.

Enhanced Monochrome Circuitry

The image circuits in this recorder has been specially developed to record the high - scan rate signal coming from x-ray systems with minimal degradation. It will also record and play back in all scan modes from 525 to 1249 lines with a 60 Hz refresh rate.

S-VHS and VHS Capability

The XR-80U normally records in the S-VHS mode but if a VHS tape is used it will record in the VHS mode. The machine will playback in either the S-VHS or VHS mode.

RMC-80 Remote Control (Optional)

Standard remote control with: Play Record, Fast Forward, Rewind, Pause Still, Stop and a search control for forward or reverse search.

IVT-10 Digital Remote Control (Optional)

  • Real time digital counter with battery backup
  • Image location marking system
  • Built-in diagnostic routines
  • Recorder bypass control for image comparisons
  • Controls include: Play, Record, Fast Forward, Rewind, Pause, Stop, Search, Jog, Counter Reset, Mark, Mark Point, Bypass and Return.
